Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RimaPlay mobile app and website operated by RimaPlay Pty Ltd ("RimaPlay", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

RimaPlay is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. You must provide accurate account information and complete identity verification where required before booking coaches or joining community play sessions.

Our role

RimaPlay is a marketplace that connects athletes with independent sports coaches and facilitates community play sessions. We are not a coaching provider, employer of coaches, or organiser of on-field activities. Coaches set their own offerings, availability, and session terms.

Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• You must provide accurate profile and verification information
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings in the app
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or harm platform safety

Bookings and sessions

• Booking requests are subject to coach acceptance and availability
• Cancellation and rescheduling rules are shown in the app at the time of booking
• You are responsible for attending sessions on time and communicating with other participants
• Session locations and logistics are agreed between participants unless otherwise stated

Payments

RimaPlay does not currently process in-app payments for coaching sessions. Any fees, payment methods, and refunds are arranged directly between athletes and coaches unless we state otherwise in the app.

Coach verification

Coaches must complete Stripe Identity verification before going live in search. Verification supports trust and safety but does not guarantee coaching quality or suitability for every athlete.

Community play sessions

Peer-organised pickup games (Play Together) are restricted to verified adults. Organisers and participants are responsible for their own conduct, safety, and compliance with venue rules.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, discriminate against, or endanger other users
• Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or eligibility
• Use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or commercial spam activity
• Attempt to bypass verification, safety, or access controls

Content and reviews

You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant RimaPlay a licence to display it on the platform. Reviews and reports must be honest and relate to genuine experiences. We may remove content that breaches these Terms or our safety policies.

Disclaimers and liability

Sport and physical activity carry inherent risk. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, RimaPlay is not liable for injuries, losses, or disputes arising from coaching sessions, play sessions, or interactions between users. Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability.

Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, subject to any non-excludable consumer rights under Australian law.
